2022 Raccoon Run Information & Registration

8 a.m. 5k Raccoon Run

8:30 a.m. 1 mile Fun Run

Walkers, joggers, and runners of all ages will take to the streets of Lakeside on Sunday, July 31 for the 42nd Annual 5k Raccoon Run and One-Mile Fun Run. Light refreshments for all racers will be provided at the finish line. Awards will be given immediately following the race on the steps of Hoover Auditorium. 

New this year, the 5k Raccoon Run begins at 8 a.m. and the One Mile Fun Run begins at 8:30 a.m.

Registration includes chip timing, chance at age group finisher’s awards for the 5k, as well as a commemorative T-shirt and decal for both 5k & One-Mile Fun Run.  Registration does not include Admission or Parking Fees. A Complimentary Pass is available until 2 p.m. on Race Day. You must show race registration at gate.

5k Race Course  - Around the perimeter of Lakeside, turns are clearly marked

• Start: Orchestra Hall, corner of Second Street & Walnut Avenue
• Finish: Third Street at Hoover Auditorium

One Mile Fun Run Course - Flat terrain along Second and Third Street

• Start: Lakeside Laundromat, corner of Second Street and Sycamore Avenue
• Finish: Third Street at Hoover Auditorium

Registration BEFORE June 26, 2022:                                                                

• 5k Registration: $35 includes T-shirt and commemorative decal
• One-Mile Fun Run: $20 includes T-shirt and commemorative decal.
• Group Registration: $25 for Athletic teams
• Please note: T-shirts are not guaranteed for Registrations after June 26, 2022.

Registration AFTER July 30, 2022:

• Registration will close 5:00pm on July 30^,
• Registration after July 30th will be considered “day of race” registration. T-shirts are not included but may be purchased for an additional $10.00
• On the day of the race, you can register between 7:00 -7:30 a.m. in Aigler Room in the Fountain Inn.

Categories:

• Men’s Division: age 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & older
• Women’s Division: age 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & older

Awards:

• One-Mile Fun Run: Certificate of Participation and Commemorative Decal
• 5k Raccoon Run:
• Trophy for 1^st Place Overall in the Men’s and Women’s divisions
• 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd Place in each of the Men’s and Women’s age divisions
