United Way of Wayne and Holmes Counties' 2023 Heart and Ghoul 5k, 10k, Half Marathon & 1-Mile "Spooky Sprint" is proudly presented by:

Event Details:

Join United Way of Wayne and Holmes Counties  for our spine chilling Halloween run presented by: Wooster Color Point. Come dressed in costume or disguise for a thrilling adventure.  Run from werewolves in the half-marathon, bolt from the Boogeyman in the 10k, trot from trolls in the 5k.  Walkers and youngsters alike can join us for the 1-Mile "Spooky Sprint" with goblins and goodies along the way!  All proceeds benefit United Way funded programs and all funds stay local!

Touchless packet pick up the morning of the event. Registration opens at 7 AM, get there early!

Starting Line: Corner of North Street and North Market Street in Downtown Wooster, OH.

Prizes will be awarded to the top competitors in each of the various age categories for 5k, 10k, & Half-Marathon:

Top Male Youth (19 years & under) 

Top Female Youth (19 years & under)

Top Male in each age division: 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

Top Female in each age division: 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

Overall Male and Overall Female for each race will also receive a prize.

10K Course Turn by Turn: Start at the corner of North and Market Streets. North on Market, left on Bowman, right on Woodland, right on Northwestern, right on Beechwood, right on Oak Hill, turn at marked spot between Skylark and Oldman and reverse the course.
