2023 RUN S’MORE Wooster Christian School Fun Run

What is new in 2023?

1. By popular request, we are working locally with Vertical Runner of Wooster and Mid Ohio Race Management.
2. Students can earn prizes for pledges and running practice.
3. Pledges can be given by cash and check as well as here online.
4. Donations are a flat rate.

What:  

Welcome to the WCS Fun Run where our students shine. Each student will run, dance or maybe
even robot walk for a 30 minute race.  The Fun Run is the largest student based fundraiser of the
WCS school year. There are prizes that students can earn based on the number of pledges they
raise AND the excellence they apply to RUNNING practice in gym class. 

How:

We are thrilled to partner locally with Vertical Runner in 2023!
Donations can be made via this site or cash and check can be collected using the envelope
provided to each student.  This year donations are made as flat rate. All students will participate
in 30 minutes of activity on the day of the Fun Run, so the amount due will not change based on
performance. Money should be collected at the time the donation is promised.
Our goal for 2023 is $40,000! We can do it!

Prizes:

Student donations will be tallied each school day from May 5 through May 18. Whenever
possible, prizes earned will be delivered the following school day. The final day to collect
donations is Wednesday, May, 17.

Important dates: 

     Thursday, May 4th – Kick Off! Materials Go Home
     Friday, May 12th – Run S’more

            Shine: On the lower field by the pond
            Rain: WCS gym enter at the north door N-1
     Wednesday, May 17th- Final day to submit donations
