2026 Jackalopes Fall Youth Racing Season

Jackalopes Youth Racing Team

It's Jackalope time!  What are the Jackalopes, you ask?  The Jackalopes are a Youth Racing Team geared for little runners ages 5-12 and will create opportunities for running, racing, learning, meeting new people, and exposure to Jr High and High School Cross Country.  We've created a schedule for Fall of 2026 that will highlight some of the best High School Cross Country Invitationals in the area, allow our little runners to showcase their talents, and watch some of the most talented High School Runners compete at what they do best - RUN!  The season will culminate with the Jackalope Jamboree at Wooster High School on October 17.  This one mile race will take place between the OCC XC Championships and the WCAL XC Championships and will be an unforgettable experience that your little runner will look forward to each year.

To become a Jackalope you just need to register!  Once you are part of the team, we'll guide you through the rest of the process.  Each week we will have updates with race info, race results, practice info, and more.

Cost:  $25 per little runner - Will include a race team singlet, a reusable race bib that you can use for the season (no need to check in), and fun opportunites to meet up throughout the fall.

What If I can't make it to ALL of the races?  No problem!  We'd love to see your runners at as many races as possible, consistency breeds improvement and growth, but if you can't make it to all of the races, we completely understand.  Come when you can!
