2026 Kidron Days 10k, 5k & 1 Mile

We are celebrating 6 years of running

Date:  Saturday, June 13, 2026 - 10k Run @ 8:00am, 5k Run @ 8:10am, 1 Mile Family Walk/ Run Starts @ 8:15am 

Race Day - Doors open at 6:30 am. Registration closes 15 minutes before race start time

Where: Race Day registration and packet pickup will begin at 6:30 am in the Sprunger Building on the Kidron Auction Grounds in Kidron, Ohio. GPS mapping addresse is 13701 Emerson Rd Apple Creek, Ohio 44606 

About:  

The Kidron Days 10k, 5k & 1 Mile run starts/finishes at the Sprunger Building in Kidron, OH - The heart of Amish Country!  The race route will give you a unique feel for the back country area and keep you coming back year after year.

Proceeds will benefit the Kidron Council and ( The Sidewalk Replacement Project ).  

Race Swag:  Each 10k & 5k race registration comes with a Race T Shirt, Finisher's Medal, electronic chip timing, post race refreshments, and a chance for race awards.  Each 1 Mile race registration comes with a Race T Shirt, electronic chip timing, and post race refreshments and a chance for race awards.

Awards:  10k & 5K Run, 1st Place, Male and Female winners ( $40.00 Cash ) 2nd Place Male and Female Winner ( $30.00 cash ) 3rd Place Male and Female winners ( $20.00 Cash ) 1 Mile Run/ Walk, Top Male And Female in the 1 Mile Run/ Walk will receive ( $20.00 cash )

Giveaways: Every runner will have a chance to win Shoes and Strawberry Pies ( 6 Pies for Male runners & 6 Pies for Female Runners ). 1 Pair of shoes for Male Runners & 1 pair of Shoes for Female Runners.

Age Group Awards: 5k  Run: Will also be given to the top 3 Male/Female runners in the following age groups 1-12- 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Cost:  

10k - $45 thru March 31, $50 thru June 12, and $50 on race day

5k - $35 thru March 31, $40 thru June 12, and $40 on race day

1 Mile - $25 thru March 31, and $25 on race day

**All participants must be signed up prior to May 31 to guarantee their shirt size on race day**

Race Course:  The 10k, 5k & 1 Mile will be an all road route for 2026. As a mix of back country roads that you'll love.

Water Station & Refreshments:  You pass the water station twice on your run. Refreshments will be provided at the finish line. 

A Coffee Trailer will be on site for all your coffee needs !!!

10k route detail:  Sprunger Building drive, turn left on Emerson Rd, turn left on Kohler Rd, turn right on Berg Road, go to stop sign at Berg/ Kansas Road, turn around and head back and turn right on Kohler Road, cross Western Road and turn around at the cone and head back to the finish line
