9th Annual JPM 5k & Musik Festival (+ Family Fun Walk)

Event Details:

The 9th annual JPM 5k & Musik Festival (+ Family Fun Walk!) is headed back to Apple Creek, OH in 2022!

This year we will be having the Smokin Chippers FOOD TRUCK roll up to serve the 5k & Family Fun Walk registrants, as well as offer food for purchase to spectators. A FREE COMMUNITY CONCERT will be provided, as always.

We will also be offering a "BEAT THE RECORD" prize. At the start of the race, we will push play on Jeff Polen's latest record, WE ARE LOVED. It will be playing throughout the race. Runners who come through the finish line before the record is finished playing will earn an "I BEAT THE RECORD" medal to prove they beat the record.

Top Male and Top Female will each receive a $100 gift card to Vertical Runner of Wooster. Four "Match My Run" random times will each earn a $25 gift card to Vertical Runner of Wooster.

This will also be the first chance for #5kMay2022 Finishers to collect their Finisher's T-shirt.

Don't miss the fun! Come on out to the Apple Creek Park on Saturday evening, July 16. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. The FREE COMMUNITY CONCERT is open to everyone.

Pricing:

5k Standard Registration, includes Family Fun Walk = $35.00

Family Fun Walk Registration = $25.00

Virtual Run Registration = $35.00

Included in Standard Registration:

5k registrations will include chip timing, and ALL registrations will include custom race shirt, post race food and drink, and a goodie bag filled with all kinds of awesomeness.

Included in Virtual Run Registration:

The JPM custom race shirt and goodie bag contents.

Prizes:

The top Male and Female finishers in the 5k will each be awarded a $100 gift card to Vertical Runner of Wooster. ("Virtual Run" participants are not eligible for prizes.)

There will also be four "Match My Run" prizes on the course ($25 gift card to Vertical Runner of Wooster), which will be awarded to the runners who are closest to Jeff's four virtual runs.

*"JPM 5K & MUSIK FEST (HONORARY) BAND"* Top Male and Top Female 5k Finishers will each win a guitar! The four "Match My Run" winners will also receive one musical instrument each  (keyboard, microphone, snare drum, and cowbell). Winners must be present to collect their prize so they can gather on the stage for an epic lip sync of "We Are the Champions" and photo opportunity.
