Bellville Pups in the Park 5K/Dog Walk is a MORM Timed event.
Please contact the event organizer for questions unrelated to race timing.

Pups in the Park 5K/Dog Walk is set for Sept. 11th at 8:00am at Legion Park in Bellville.

5k timed race- out and back starting near the depot.

Registration at 8:00am and
- chipped timed race starts at 8:30am.
9am-noon - Casual stroll with dogs and owners.
8am-noon - Food and canine-related vendors.

Free Shirt & bandana for your dog with registration! ***First 70 registrants are guarenteed a TShirt & Bandana - shirt sizes are now limited due to being so close to the race****

About Finnigan's Run Dog Park

Jim Gorman has generously donated 5 acres to the Village of Bellville for a dog park (located across from the bike trail) at the bike trail parking lot on St. Rt. 97 in Bellville. The Bellville Dog Park - Finnigan's Run will be named in memory of beloved Bellville resident Lyle Beveridge and his dog Finnigan.

Dog park committee members Judy and Kenzie Golden, Jerry Simon, and mayor Brenkus are raising funds to create this wonderful space for our four legged, furry families. Thanks to Jerry Simon, we have a business Venmo account (@dogpark) established to accept donations for dog park development. Checks may be made out to Village of Bellville - noted for DOG PARK.

We hope to start construction this fall and seed the 5 acres (3.5 acres BIG DOG - 1.5 acres SMALL DOG) for a spring ribbon cutting! Please share this post to spread awareness about this wonderful project!
