Event Time: 7:00 AM- 7:00 PM
Come and Run For Freedom on the beautiful trails of Freedom Hills Ministries. Run one 5K every hour for 12 hours. We will provide snacks, drinks, and shelter as well as official chip timing. Each runner will receive a "Race Packet" including an official Run For Freedom Shirt and a beautiful Run for Freedom Belt Buckle.
A 5K will start every hour for 12 hours with the rest periods between the time a runner finishes a 5K and the start of a new hour. There will be stage prizes as well as prizes for top male and female finishers.
A meal of mashed potatoes and chicken will be served after the final 5K at 7:00 PM.
Sponsorships:
We request that each runner secures a minimum sponsorship of $15.00 per mile.
Sponsors are welcome to contribute any amount they choose, provided that the total sponsorship for each runner reaches $15.00 per mile. We will round the total distance covered to 37 miles. Any sponsorship exceeding $15.00 per mile would be fantastic! Additionally, please note that there will be a $500 Gift Card for the runner with the highest sponsorship.
Stage Prizes:
4th Hour 5K: Top Female Finisher
6th Hour 5K: Top Male and Female Finisher over 40 years old
9th Hour 5K: Top Male Finisher
12th Hour 5K: Overall Best Combined Time given to Top Three Male and Top Three Female Finishers
*Failure to finish any 5K in an hour will result in the runner timing out. The runner may continue to run but will not be officially timed. Any stage prizes won before timing out will be honored.
